Nationally Certified Resume Writers must first prove their seniority in and commitment to the resume-writing industry by presenting the certification commission with evidence of recent training and development. Once these continuing education units (CEUs) are accounted for, applicants are invited to submit their best resume and cover letter sample for approval to take the examination. Writers who fall short of the NCRW standards are required to seek one or more avenues for professional development before they resubmit.
When ready, applicants take part in a rigorous three-part exam administered by The National Resume Writers' Association (The NRWA). Our exam, like our pre-qualifying process, is not easy. The only way a writer can earn the NCRW certification is by demonstrating a high level of expertise in resume strategy, business writing, grammar and punctuation, proofreading, and electronic resume preparation.
Upon receiving their credential, NCRWs have proven themselves several times over to be the best in their field–a consummate professional dedicated to upholding the highest standards in the business. Subsequently, NCRWs are required to acquire CEUs annually to maintain their certification which keeps them on the cutting edge of this ever-changing industry.
We encourage you to visit these writers' Web sites or contact them by e-mail to learn more about their specific services and credentials.
